Hi Everyone!   I haven't been back around Keystone much since I graduated in '75 except to visit family and friends, and unfortunately, back with my mother when she passed in '87. I haven't made a reunion yet, but I'd love to make the next one. Please keep me in the loop and let me know ahead of time so I can plan it right! Take care all!

Hi to all, and thanks to the folks keeping this site going. I just went through the photos of the last reunion, again, and still wish I could have been there. Maybe next time. I retired from the U.S. Forest Service in 2006, and joined a call-up unit of the Army Corps of Engineers to respond to disasters. So far, three hurricane assignments in Louisiana. Travel adventures, and work I enjoy. Still living in Seneca, SC, close to what was my USFS job, and my 90,000 acre "office"...mountains, rivers, and lots of woods. Those of you who know me well, especially you Explorers, won't be surprised to hear that I spent much of my working life in the woods. If I was 22 again, starting my working years again, I wouldn't change a thing. Nothing. Especially my years at KHHS. I'm still active in all kinds of things, including local and state politics, and still enjoying very good health. Well, guys, how about you? I'd enjoy hearing from you. My e-mail address above. And, as I said above, maybe the next reunion.

Mike Funderburke passed away. He was a great person and will be missed by many. Please continue to pray for his mom, wife, Susie, and his sons and the rest of his family. His obituary and service notification is in the Gainesville Sun 9/13/12 (gainesville.com).  Another reminder that life is short and we have no guarantee that we will be here tomorrow.  Love to all of you and each of yours!  It is always nice to catch up with old friends. I will not be able to make the reunion this year, because my in-laws will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniv. in July with a big party. All 6 of my children & the spouses will be attending, so I will have a housefull.  I still live in Arkansas where I moved from Fla in 1972. I love it here, and after being a military "brat" it has been nice to have one place to call home. Love to all, and have a great time.  I will try to upload some pictures of my gang, and my 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Hey everyone!  Was sitting here at work at twelve midnight, (don't ask), and goggled Johnny Vadejuli.  Somehow I would up finding this site and immediately "favorited" it.  I was shocked though to see the name of some of our friends who have passed.  Static Jack!  How can this be.  Anyway, I'll be checking in frequently.  If anyone heads Atlanta way, let me know and we can hook up for a toast to old times.

HI everybody ! Many of you may not remember me since I was at KHHS 9th and 10th grade. My father Ed Timmins was a teacher for a lot of you; he passed away in 1989 of MS. My mother went to sleep and didn't wake up about 2 years ago - age 86.
I live in Ormond-by -the -Sea, Fl near Daytona and came over this way in 1980. I'm retired but go to my sister's place on Santa Fe that has been in the family 70 years. There's nothing like sitting on the dock with a beer ! Best to all !

Jack Funderburk died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, when his pickup struck a semi, which had been parked in a northbound lane of 301 in Starke. Jack was 55 yrs old from the class of '72. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy and their children, Jack was just a few weeks away from becoming a first time grandfather.

Just stopped by to say hi to class of '74. All of us Packard kids ended up back in mom and dad's hometown of Jersey Shore, PA. We are all within a couple miles of Mom and Dad. 5 of us here right now-Ronald is serving in the PA National Guard in Iraq right now. Between us all, we have given our parents 15 grandkids and 11 great grandkids so far. Nice to see so many names I know on here. Candy

Hi all,
I just ran across this website and it brought back a lot of memories, some great and some very painful. I dated Valerie Turner up until her disapperance and death back in 1971. I made some very good friends in Keystone and always loved the town. I still get there often and very the cemetery on each visit. Thank you for a great website.

Hello Keystone, I'm Mike Breeden's (KHS 72)older brother (Bradford class of 68), I only went to Keystone from 56-58 or so in Mrs. Garntoe's and Mrs. Jones's (husband used to have the barber shop next to the then Texaco) classes. We moved from in town to Silver lake in 58, so had to transfer to Hampton and Starke. I was wondering if anyone has kept tabs on Roger Smith (KHS 69), Johnny Carnes (KHS 70), or Billy Belote (KHS 70).  Johnny and Roger were in those early classes with me. I just remembered in fact, I ran into Roger in 70-71, while in the Army, at Ft. Stewart Ga., I'd played some football with Billy at BHS during the 67-68 season.
Donna Jean, glad to see your back home now...

Sorry about being late to the reunion. I will be sure to take my medication on time, and not be such a butt-head. These days it's hard to keep my thoughts together. It was really, really nice for the time I was there. I was afraid for you all to see me,... Until I saw all of you. So I guess we are all in the same boat together, just different parts. Hope to do it again. Ill keep it together. I'm not dead yet! Hope to see you all, and everyone I missed again soon. Love as always.........Joe (JOMO Risin')
